Ladybug's Home

Every little bug needs to find its home.  The ladybugs found it in a calla lily.  Basic Yellow cake with chocolate frosting covered in mmf.  All characters of the cake were made out of fondant.  Grass is shaved coconut colored in green.  A Debbie Brown inspired cake :)

Heart Shaped Candybox

A friend of mine wanted a cake for her mom's birthday.  Her idea was to give her a heart shaped candybox.  I just had to make sure that I create her idea in a cake.   This cake is what I came up with.  Hershey's kisses are store bought (sometimes you gotta cheat ;)  Chocolate orange cake, chocolate frosting covered in marshmellow fondant.  Lid of cake is made out of fondant as well as the roses. 

Baking Day

This is a Debbie Brown inspired cake.  My mother inlaw is a chef & she also bakes.  She wanted to a cake for a dinner party.  I thought a good way to describe her is when she's in the kitchen.  My father inlaw is such a patient man, always there calming her.  Orange cake with chocolate frosting covered in marshmellow fondant.  All characters are made out of fondant, egg white is pipping gel & spilled milk is royal icing.
