Guarding the Castle

The birthday boy couldn't decide what cake he wanted when he went through the cake books. He like the castle & also one with a pumpkin that had many mice around. I told him if he like the castle; I would put a mouse somewhere in the castle. The bitty mouse was created. The rocks on the castle circles flatten & put on. I stopped counting at 300, but it was fun making this cake.

Mini Under the Sea

I had my daugther's daycare come over for her acutal birthday date. I was going to make a whale for this little party. I had the whole bottom layer of her bigger cake left. So I decided to change the cake topper to be a whale instead. Used the same animals from the bigger cake that were left. After this smaller version of the bigger cake. There was no cake left. Have so many people just loving all the animals that I have captured for these cakes.

Under the Sea

My most favorite cake to date!! Happy 2ND Birthday to my princess!! This was a cake that I made for my daughter's 2ND birthday. Her party theme was Under the Sea. I wanted to create The Great Coral Reef for her. To try & capture all the animals that live there along with the scuba divers that explore it. All animals were hand moulded. I have no moulds for any of them. The boat is also free hand. I wanted this cake to have almost everything you find under the sea.....

Danish Crown Pig

I just love the way this cake came out. My father in law works for Danish Crown, its the factory that handles pigs. At first I was going to make him a cake with him in a garden. He loves working in the garden, has a really good green tumb. But I thought, since he's worked with Danish Crown for many years why not a pig cake. This is what I came up with. The pig's face is a replica of a pig he gave my daugther for Christmas. I thought it would be nice to copy it on his' pig's face.
